The “Un-Carrier” Speaks Frankly about the Pain Carriers are Causing

T-Mobile has been refreshingly frank in its assessment of how disruptive and costly cellular technology sunsets are to end users. It doesn’t get much more direct than T-Mobile’s statement from this article:

Migrating technologies can often be expensive and include deploying skilled repair teams to swap out installed devices for LTE modules, which can cost $50 to $200 per device and up to $300 per truck roll. Those costs might not be right for every business today…

We couldn’t really have said it much better ourselves. We completely understand how important network longevity is to traditional M2M and newer IoT customers.

Ingenu Brings Machine Network Connectivity to Indianapolis Metropolitan Area

Company’s first Midwest deployment to support manufacturing, smart agriculture and other IoT applications

SAN DIEGO – October 5, 2016 – Ingenu Inc.™, the pioneer in delivering connectivity exclusively to machines, today announced the availability of the Machine Network to the greater Indianapolis market. With a coverage area of nearly 700 square miles, the network provides Internet of Things (IoT) connectivity to the Midwest’s second-most populous city, serving a population of approximately 1.2 million.

Ingenu’s Machine Network is powered by the company’s patented RPMA® (Random Phase Multiple Access) communication technology, which provides robust, reliable connectivity across a variety of operating environments. Ingenu and Vula Telematix Roll Out Machine Network Across South Africa

Flagship customer Drakenstein Municipality will provide energy services to Paarl, Cape Town region with Ingenu’s RPMA Network

Smart Cities Week, WASHINGTON – September 28, 2016 – Ingenu Inc.™, the pioneer in delivering connectivity exclusively to machines, and Vula Telematix, a leading provider of network solutions for South Africa’s telecommunications and energy markets, today announced the availability of the Machine Network™ in the Western Cape region of South Africa.  Vula Telematix, an Ingenu Global Licensing Partner, is the exclusive provider of the Machine Network in South Africa and will be building out the nationwide RPMA® (Random Phase Multiple Access) network to serve the country’s population of over 52 million.

This public IoT (Internet of Things) network is powered by Ingenu’s patented RPMA  communication technology, which provides robust, reliable connectivity across a variety of operating environments.  The cities of Cape Town, Johannesburg and Pretoria will utilize the RPMA network to deliver smart grid and smart city services.  RPMA services will expand to additional cities in the near future.
